We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Operations Manager with a global leader in the heavy lift industry. Based in a thriving East Texas community, this role
oversees all aspects of product manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery. The manager will drive operational excellence, enforce accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Champion safety initiatives to protect employees.
· Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance KPIs in operations, quality, customer service, and finance.
· Implement Lean Management Systems, including daily management, Gemba walks, and leader standard work.
· Drive operational excellence through kaizen events and problem-solving initiatives.
· Monitor and report KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
· Oversee resource planning, financial assessments, and capacity modeling.
· Develop and mentor teams to meet short- and long-term performance goals.
· Lead change management efforts while maintaining employee engagement.
Qualifications
-Previous Production Management experience\-
-Would like heavy metal manufacturing – forging, stamping, machining etc.
· Experience with Lean Leadership, value-stream mapping, and problem-solving (A3 format preferred).
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
· BA/BS in engineering, science, operations, or business (MBA a plus).
